Angus Watkins is a Western Australian born artist working from his studio in Wilyabrup.  His art is emotionally driven and wildly unpredictable often depicting fantastical objects and figures huddled and squeezed together, Its quite bodily and and has a tactile sense as if you could touch it. and landscapes that descend into the figurative.  He is simply hunting for an understanding, a revelation about humanity and the self. He believes that understanding your self is fundamental to becoming your art
